Koi and Flowers Original Acrylic, Wood Burning Painting

Pictures don't do it justice!  "The Evolution" features wood burned detailing and vibrant color- the "portal" and leaves are burned, and acrylic applied over the burn in layers.  The surreal scene features playful koi are surrounded by blooms in vivid hues, set against a dark background.  This piece is a beautiful 'pop' of color to complement any space!

The edges of the panel have been wood burned in a design to compliment the painting and trimmed with a metallic gold/bronze, which creates a truly unique work of art that cannot be found anywhere but AKOA!

The panel is 16 inches wide and 20 inches high, with a 'cradle' that is 1.5 inches deep (see detail images.) Both painting and cradle feature archival quality sealing for durability. The painting has been fitted with professional quality "D" rings and wired for immediate hanging. The wood burned 'cradle' of the panel creates a frame for the piece, so no additional framing is required.
