TUMBLERS, TOTES, & OTHER MERCH
Shipping times for other merchandise such as tumblers or tote bags differ by product, as they ship from a third party who fabricates the item for AKOA. The estimated times for production and shipping are listed on the product page for each item.
Returns & exchanges

If a refund or exchange is desired, AKOA must be notified within 14 days of order receipt. Buyer may be asked to return unwanted items at Buyer cost within 30 days. All original artwork to be refunded or exchanged MUST be shipped back in same condition to AKOA in Indiana at address provided at Buyer cost. A full refund will be issued within 24 hours of receipt. Orders for a single (1) print sized 16 x 24 and under do not need to be returned to receive a refund. Orders for more than (1) print may need to be returned to AKOA in Indiana in order to receive a refund. Refunds will be issued within 24 hours of refund request if no return is required, or within 24 hours of receipt of returned items) if return of unwanted item(s) is requested.

Not All Orders Can Be Cancelled.
If you need to cancel your order, please contact AKOA immediately. Please be aware that because orders are generally processed between 1-2 hours after order is placed, canceling is not always possible. However, I do cancel whenever possible, and refunds/replacements/returns are always available, except on custom orders or commissions. Please contact me if you have any problems with your order! Customer service is my highest priority.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Frequently asked questions
Are the images on every size print exactly the same?
The image on your print may vary slightly by size. In order to best accommodate various sizes, I have personally edited each print to show as much of the image as possible.
What if I am unsatisfied with my print?
If you are unsatisfied with your print or original art, please contact me within 14 days regarding a refund/return of the item.
Where will my print ship from?
Prints are drop-shipped from a third party printing company located outside Buffalo, NY.
Can I get a signed print?
Signed or limited edition prints may be available in the shop from time to time. Otherwise, all prints are drop shipped from a third party printer and do not allow for customization. If you would like to special order a signed print, or other customization, please contact me directly.
Where does my piece of original art ship from?
All original art ships from the AKOA studio in Indiana, US. Orders (excluding personalized and custom work) ships within 1-5 business days.
What if my print arrives damaged?
Prints are carefully packaged to avoid damage- however, accidents do happen! If your print arrives in any way damaged, please contact me immediately regarding a replacement at no cost.
I'm sending my order as a gift. Will the recipient see the price, and do you offer gift wrapping?
Prices are not included on any packing slips, so you can rest assured that the gift recipient will not know the cost of your gift! Unfortunately, AKOA does not offer gift wrapping.

Do I have to purchase a whole branding package?
No. OA Graphic Design believes in marketing with flexibility. Some companies require you to sign on for costly and ongoing marketing campaigns that can drain your budget and don't flex to meet changing business requirements. OA Graphic Design allows you to request just what you need when you need it.
Why don't you list the exact prices for every service?
Every marketing project your business requires is unique to your needs. OA Graphic Design understands that most of us have budgets and we will work with you to help you make the most of your marketing dollars. When possible, OA Graphic Design does list a price range, so that you can determine quickly and easily if our services fit within your budget.
Do you print my items?
OA Graphic Design does not handle printing. Finding the right printer for your project is up to you. However, we will gladly design to the specifications preferred by your printer, if applicable. For a small additional fee, OA Graphic Design will upload/send the files to your printer for you.
How do I know I will be able to use the files?
OA Graphic Design will provide usable files for web and print purposes, as needed. This includes AI, PSD, TIFF, PDF, JPEG, PNG, etc. as requested.
BOOK COVER DESIGN
What if I need to request additional materials I didn't include in our Contract, like an eBook cover?
No problem. We can always add additional items to your order, just contact me, and I can provide a quote.
What are your prices?
The final cost will depend on the formats you request (paperback, hardback, eBook, etc) and the amount of time estimated to complete the artwork. Generally, the original artwork for a paperback or hardback dust jacket starts at $500-$700+ and includes the final files in standard formats (PDF, InDesign, etc.) Additional fees will apply for adapting the final artwork to audiobook or eBook format. Please be as specific as possible when you request the layouts you think you will need (paperback, dust jacket, eBook) so that they can be factored into your cost. Any additional layouts not originally included may incur an additional fee.
How many revisions do I get?
The total cost includes a certain number of hours allotted to additional edits after the final artwork has been presented for approval. Edits that are estimated to take more than the number of hours specified in the Contract must be approved in writing by you, and are billed at $30/hr.
What file formats do you provide?
You will be provided the final files in any number of standard industry formats - PDF, TIFF, PSD, AI, JPEG, etc. Please note that editable, original PSD files remain the property of OA Graphic Design and are not included. If you are not sure what file formats you need or are unsure of how to upload or send them to your printer, let me know. For a small additional fee, I can assist you with this process.
What is your turnaround time?
Original cover art requires a minimum of 4 weeks and may take up to a few months, depending on the scope of the project. When considering your publishing schedule, please leave as much time for this process as possible to ensure the best results.
Do you hand-draw your covers? Or do you use stock photos?
I use both. Many of my covers are digitally painted originals. However, I can and have used stock imagery when needed, depending on the request of the Client. We can work together to ensure the best options for your cover art that suit your needs and budget.
Do you provide social media/cover reveal images?
Absolutely! Please let me know if you would like promo images, including cover reveal images. I would be happy to provide those for a small additional fee.
Can I also get the title artwork?
Yes. You can request a copy of the existing Title artwork as-is, in any standard format(s) to be provided to you at no additional charge. If you need the artwork adapted or edited for additional use, (such as style changes, additional artwork added, etc.) that will be an additional fee - please reach out to me with your request and I will be happy to provide you a quote.
Will you use my cover for another book?
No. I offer bespoke, fully custom covers for authors. Every commission is unique, and the artwork created for your book will not be used for another client.
