PROJECT | The Client required cover art for her novel Will Rise From Ashes, as well as ebook and audiobook layouts, a scene break graphic, and title page art. The cover art utilized Adobe Illustrator for Vector elements, Photoshop for color application and element compilation, and InDesign for the final layout files.

CONCEPT

The art reflects a storyline which follows characters traversing the country under difficult circumstances, conveying darkness in the surroundings, but with the light of hope for the future. Nature plays a large part in the novel, so the cover needed to portray the majesty of the Colorado mountains, as well as the bond between the two main characters while facing great obstacles. The compass anchors the piece, accents of warm gold tying in the rays of golden light peeking through the clouds and lighting the way through the landscape and trials ahead.

ADAPTATIONS

Original book cover design includes options to format your artwork for both eBook and Audiobook use (such as Amazon Kindle). Will Rise From Ashes artwork was adapted to fit these formats.
